The Ministry of Education authorized the implementation of international diploma programs alongside the national curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded education. External evaluations by organizations such as Cognia and MAWHEBA have recognized the school’s high standards in academics and student development. Recently, Dar Al Fikr received the prestigious 2024 School of Distinction Award from Cognia, ranking among the top 6 schools in the Middle East and Gulf region and the top 60 globally. This recognition, especially meaningful as Cognia serves over 40,000 institutions across 90 countries, highlights the school’s exceptional performance in meeting Cognia’s rigorous standards. Additionally, Dar Al Fikr serves as a testing center for international exams like TOEFL and SAT, and offers AP courses, providing students with access to advanced academic opportunities and a globally competitive education.

Ministry of Education
In 2007/2008, the Ministry of Education authorized schools to implement the International Diploma in Science, Mathematics, and English, as well as the Materials and Hours System across all subjects. Schools were also required to continue applying the Arabic language curricula, along with Islamic and social education, in accordance with the ministry’s standards.
Cognia
Dar Al Fikr has been accredited by Cognia since 2009, a testament to its commitment to maintaining high educational standards. Cognia, a globally respected accrediting body, follows a strict and thorough evaluation process to ensure institutions meet its demanding performance criteria. In 2024, Dar Al Fikr successfully renewed its Cognia accreditation for the period of 2024 to 2030, achieving an impressive score of 385 out of 400. This renewal highlights the school’s dedication to continuous improvement. Additionally, Dar Al Fikr obtained STEM accreditation for the first time, reinforcing its focus on innovative education. Mawhiba Foundation
King Abdul Aziz Foundation (Mawhiba), through the North Anglia Foundation, examined and evaluated the scientific, pedagogical, and human structure of the school, which was then accredited for the care and education of gifted students. This evaluation has been repeated yearly.
College Board
The Council adopts Dar Al Fikr schools as a center for conducting standardized international tests: TOEFL / P.SAT / SAT / GRE.
AP Course
The American Testing Center has approved Dar Al Fikr to offer advanced courses in science and mathematics, which are above the secondary level and are credited at universities based on the approved hours according to the American testing system.
